What to expect

I'd thought I take a post to explain what I have planned for this blog. This blog will have several subjects about all things related to Disney. I want to strive to bring you all the tools to help live the magic in every day living. There will be everything from movie reviews, recipes, merchandise updates, park updates, and anything else that I feel will help bring the magic of Disney to every part of your lives.

I have huge plan for this project and I thank all of you for following Adults who love Disney. You all are amazing and I will try my very best to bring my best to you all

Do a Dole whip with Disney

Here's if you wanna recreate one of the popular Disney Park treats! Dole whip! brought to you by magicalrecipes.net


Ingredients

  1. 2 20 ounce cans Dole crushed pineapple with juice
  2. 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  3. 2 tablespoons lime juice
  4. 1/3 cup sugar
  5. 1 and 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped


Directions

  1. Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside.
  2. Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender or food processor container; cover and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags and store bags flat in freezer.
  4. Freeze 1-1/2 hours or until slushy.
  5. Stir pineapple slush gently into whipped cream until slightly blended, in large bowl.
  6. Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour.

A walt recipe!

I find this exciting apparently this is Walt Disney's own chili recipe. I found it on pinterest you can also find it on the pinterest page Disney Recipe board

Ingredients:
2 lbs. coarse ground beef
2 onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup oil
1 cup chopped celery
1 tsp. chili powder (depending on taste)
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 large can solid pack tomatoes
2 lbs. dry pink beans
Salt

For Extra Zest:
Add a pinch of the following spices:
1 little yellow Mexican chili pepper
Coriander seeds
Turmeric
Chili seeds
Cumin seeds
Fennel seeds
Cloves
Cinnamon
Dry ginger

Preparation:
1. Soak beans overnight in cold water.
2. Drain, add water to cover (2 inches over beans), and simmer with onions until tender (about 4 hours).
3. Meanwhile, prepare sauce by browning meat and minced garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients, and simmer for 1 hour. When beans are tender, add sauce to beans and simmer for 1/2 hour.
